Who Knows Me?

I believe there is one simple fact about all people, we desire to be known!  Some desire to measure relationships by 'quantity,' how many friends can I have?  Others desire to measure relationships by 'quality,' how good of a friend can I have?

Regardless of which measure motives our personal longing to be known, there is one simple fact about God that we can read about in I John 3:1 'See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.  The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.' (ESV)

God's desire is to bring a fulfilling love to all of His children.  The genuine working of God's love in our lives is what will bring that ultimate and satisfying thirst we have to be known.
