Small
Groups ministry
Also called "Home Teams," our small group ministry is how we
do life together. We meet together each week, usually in someone's home
to learn together about God and to support and encourage each other. The
group size tends to be between eight and fifteen members.
Interested in joining a group? Contact the church
office.

Who are Home Teams for?
Home Teams are for those who are:
- looking for relationships
- looking to grow in their faith
- looking to understand God's Word
- looking for support in their spiritual journey
Life is too tough to do alone. God designed us to be in
"community" with each other so we can live out our faith. So, at
Community Church of the Rockies, we'd like everyone to get connected in
an Home Team.
Home Teams provide you with a mix of people who are at the same place
in their spiritual journey as you. Together, you grow in understanding
God's Word and God's direction for your life.
If you are looking to grow in your relationship with God and your understanding
of what it means to become a fully devoted Christ follower, then check
out an Home Team!
Who leads Home Teams?
Home Teams are led by qualified, trained leaders who have been
brought up through the Home Team ministry and approved by the CCR leadership.
Leaders are responsible for the pastoral care in their groups. They are
also responsible to train an apprentice leader.
What about child care?
Each group decides how it will handle child care. Some groups provide
child care at the home of the meeting or some nearby home. In other groups,
individuals are responsible for their own arrangements.
A word from Pastor Ron...
"I am convinced that Home Teams are the backbone of CCR.
I can't overstate their importance to those of us wanting to grow in our
faith. Whether you are a spiritual seeker and are attempting to investigate
Christianity, or whether you are a seasoned believer, there is a Home Team
for you. Ann and I have been in a Home Team since the start
of the church. Our group has been there for us through the hard times
in our marriage, in our parenting and in our ministry. I don't know where
we would be without them. I encourage you to take this important step
- join a group - and watch God change your life!"
