Our Team
Ron and Ann Clarkson founded our church in 1992. From just their family in their living room, we have grown to be a cutting edge church that is reaching many. They have also started churches in Chicago and San Diego. Ron has a B.S. in Education from Drake University and a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary. Ron and Ann have five children and are active in volunteerism in schools and sports. Ron is also the author of The Spiritual Side of Parenting.
Joining CCR in 2007, Ryan was born and raised in Southern California (Long Beach). He began his career in youth ministry at the ripe age of nineteen after sensing a call to vocational ministry. He earned a degree in Christian Education/Youth Ministry from Biola University then served 2 churches in So-Cal before moving to Grand Rapids to earn a master's degree in New Church Development from Calvin Seminary. While in seminary he helped start Crosswinds Community Church. Ryan married his high school sweetheart, Christy and they love spending time together and with others, watching movies, eating good food, playing games, camping, playing sports, watching sports, attending sporting events or concerts, playing music, or reading a good book. Their all-consuming passion is Jesus and seeing his name lifted high in our lives and the lives of others.
Before working for CCR as the office administrator, Charlotte worked extensively in office management. Most recently, Charlotte was the Assistant to the Community Development Director for the City of Reno. She retired from that position to be with her daughter’s family here in Colorado Springs. She is the proud grandmother of three, and enjoys spoiling them, her dog, and her cats. Before taking this position at CCR, Charlotte was the bookkeeper for the CCR Finance Team.
